Collectors Hive introduces Collectors’ Social Media Mobile App at Toycon 2017

Once again, toy collectors gathered here on the Toy Convention Year 2017 at the SMX Convention of SM Mall of Asia last June 30, July 1-2, 2017. The corresponding booths stood in to showcase their toys, posters, and memorabilia during the 3-day event. Collectors Hive once again unraveled the social media platform for the collectors, hobbyists and enthusiasts – introducing the collector’s mobile application. Through the easy login of your Facebook account, it automatically creates a genuine profile of you.


Mr. Frederick Puno, CEO and Founder of Collectors Hive app explains further the app’s features easy profile navigation, collection gallery, timeline, and most importantly the scan barcode feature. Through your Android phones, just scan the barcode of your bought store item and generate item information instantly. There are searchable items in this mobile and web application – with over 120 million collections to date and approximately 3,000 active members.

Collectors Hive has introduced one of its active collectors – Arvin Angeles, an avid Voltes V collector. Arvin proudly presented his 23-inch handcrafted Voltes V creation at the booth. People were amazed at his endearing passion and unique item collection. Whereas, the Collectors Hive also held a captive contest in which the contestant is only required to download a mobile application and scan its code. Many were furious to join the contest but the winners were already declared in three categories – Grand Prize, Minor Prize and Consolation Prize.


Jerico Baron was announced as the Anime & Manga Collector of the year 2017 after the contest– the nendoroids collector that has over 500 collectibles to date. The minor prize winners were Alvin Saladino, Noel De Leon, Jessie Havona, Rye Herrera and Doc Ronnie Moraleta. For consolation prize, the winners were Francis Edrich Zuno, Cristine Iyra Nina Nadal, Ferdinand Chua, Michelle Lorilla, Roland Dane Carreon, Lucille Lao, Judith Macugay Lpt, John Sia,Oscar Castaneda and Ron Kristoffer Roxas.


The Collectors Hive had a successful event propagation. Coming soon is the ‘Store Facility’ option on mobile application. The buyers and sellers can have their own store online and make transactions with their prospects. The participating local stores can have a chance to upload their items for easy search of the collectors. Interested parties and guests will have more to this launching of upgrade the soonest.
